Her first book, Making Music With Your Child, published by MMB Music, Inc., was funded in part by a grant from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. She has also recorded Kia's Kids, a CD of original songs by her students ages 6-12, and been featured in a documentary, Kia's Kids, which aired on PBS.
