This story about Sancho the Silly Billy Goat is mostly true and since it happened in the Gulf Coast of Texas, I included some Spanish words with a glossary. Children of all ages have enjoyed the rhythm of the poetry and the pictures to go with it. There is a proverb at the end reminding readers to be mindful that silliness goes before a fall.

Autorenporträt
For as long as she can remember, Liz Moreno was a "wanna be" writer. Before she began teaching at age 41, she wrote poetry and prose for her own edification. During her career as a teacher she frequently submitted articles and poems to the Victoria Advocate and the regional newspaper, The Good News Just Keeps Coming. She and her husband Gabe have five grown children, sixteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild. They live near Wharton, Texas, where they have a small flock of chickens, 2 dogs, 5 cats, and 1 frustrated duck. Moreno's belong to Abundant Life Church in Wharton.
