Told with humor and frankness, adrift in the U.S. Army, SGT Cooper - Coop, grows disillusioned as he delivers conscription notices door to door. Coop meets a winsome but unstable woman named Lucy, who seduces him to divert the summon for her only son, Kentu, a young anti-war activist. As their relationship develops a catastrophic collision is set in place. Kentu's objections rise even though Coop is called away. During his next mission, Coop is blinded in battle and returns to Lucy's home only to find it strangely more unsettling than the battlefront.
