The computing literature contains many proposals for new ways of designing and developing computer-based systems, however, surprisingly (and worryingly) little work has been done to find the evidence that validates ideas about appropriate technical products and methods and links the theory to practice (Briony J Oates, 2006). Resistance to change is shown to be the greatest obstacle to change. The issue of successfully overcoming resistance to change can be achieved only if the end-users believe that using the new technology would enhance their performance. This research conducted empirical assessment and evaluation of SAP ERP software to find out its contribution to change management practice in Airline Company. The research investigates what parts of the system are missing or inadequately aligned in order to predict how capable the organizations can be in terms of organizational transformation. It is very important to make sure that the new technology to be adopted will be able to support the change management practices afterwards. The new technology must promote the change management rather than opposing it.
