Produktbeschreibung
Cycles is an introspective, quasi-fictional rendering of the dangers attached to allowing our individual and collective need to control people and circumstances to define who we are. It is also about the human capacity for benign change and the resulting inclination toward global unity, which is the most effective 'antigen' for the negative tendencies that have historically bred global enmity. The term 'cycles' references the inevitable return of the effect(s) of our words and actions toward others to each of us. It is likely the most well-known, yet most-often overlooked, characteristic of the nature of human affairs. In magnetic fashion, it is a certainty that the consequences of each deed will return, in one form or another, to its source. Encapsulating these ideas, the story concludes by sketching part of the thought-journey of self-exploration which leads to the personal growth of two of the characters. It is hoped that considering these ideas will, likewise, serve as an interactive exercise, and inspiration, for the reader's own adventure in the examination of self.
