Autorenporträt
I lived in a small town in Illinois. In 1994 my husband and I moved to Florida for his health. In 2006, when John passed away, I made a bucket list of things I wanted to do that I couldn't do before. I went to Arizona to see my son, done. I went to San Diego to see the ship my father sailed on into Navy, done. I went to Mexico for a fun day with my family, done. From twenty-nine things, I wanted I was down to the last two. One was to find someone to love and love me, done. Last was to write a book, so I keep trying. The garbage can was full. It isn't that easy. One day while I was working on the receiving dock an idea came to me so in between vendors I wrote my first poem, Always and forever. I wrote from the heart and every day after dinner I would try. It took time but I finished my book. It is called Poems and short stories. I still live in Florida in a small town. I will be moving back to Illinois with my son. I hope you enjoy reading this book and may God bless you and yours. Thank you. -Sharon Deese
