Wayne Wilbur is a K-12 teacher at a rural school whose interests often align with those of his students. From outdoor pursuits like fishing and snowmobiling to painting and carpentry, "Mr. Wilbur" also joins in at school, playing ball hockey or running the weight-room programs. The Sarah and Billy stories were first imagined and recounted around the campfire to his daughter Adrielle and his son Remington when they were three years old. Mr. Wilbur often shares these stories in the K-8 classrooms, where students are eager to hear about Sarah and Billy's next adventure.
