The nursing sector plays an important role in underpinning health delivery of a country. This book attempts to appraise satisfaction of employees in selected private and public hospitals. The purpose of this book is therefore to obtain a clear picture of the existence and nature of the relationship between personality factors and its relationship with satisfaction of nurses in Ghana. It focuses on the relative importance of satisfaction factors and their impacts on the overall satisfaction of employees. It determines the relationship between personality and job satisfaction. The more satisfied people are the happier they are. Moreover, job satisfaction has been defined as a pleasurable emotional state resulting from the appraisal of one's job; an affective reaction to one's job; and an attitude towards one's job Weiss (2002). The success of any organization depends on how its member performs his/ her tasks. If the members are effective, efficient and committed to their job, the organization will be able to attain its mission Weiss (2002).
