'Such an enjoyable book' Ally McCoist 'A great read' Phil Thompson 'Saturday Afternoon Fever is great fun - right out of the top drawer' Paul Merson For a quarter of a century, the iconic Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling was the face and voice of football television as the host of Soccer Saturday, a results show with National Treasure status. Saturday Afternoon Fever is Stelling's moving and fascinating memoir and a love letter to the game that has shaped and defined him, taking us through his journey from a fan in the terraces at Hartlepool's Victoria Park in the 1960s to the sleek and salubrious confines of the Sky Sports studios during the most exciting periods in football's history. As the great man says: 'How did all this happen to a chubby kid from a working class family on the Rift House Estate? A boy whose passion for football was never going to be matched by his ability to play the game? As someone may have once said, it has frankly been Unbelievable Jeff!'
