Autorenporträt
GARANG KUOT is a South Sudanese-Canadian and a past recipient of World University Service of Canada (WUSC) Scholarship. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of British Columba, Vancouver, Canada. Mr. Garang spent six years working for the government of now defunct Northern Bahr El Ghazal State in different capacities, including heading the Directorate of Research and Documentation, and Directorate of Resolutions at the State Secretariat General before ascending to the position of Secretary General of the government of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State in the Republic of South Sudan. He has also worked as consultant for various national and international organizations including providing consultancy service to peace and conflict mitigation between the Dinka Malual of the Republic of South Sudan and the Reziegat and Messiriya of Darfur and South Kordufan of the Republic of Sudan, respectively, with a USAID-supported Viable Support to Transition and Stability (VISTAS) program in South Sudan. He is currently living in Canada
