About the authors U.L.Devereaux & Savannah Lee U.L. is on a first-name basis with Santa Claus, although he has never visited the mystery man's North Pole enclave. Creator of "Sugar & Spice and every other thing Nice", he can prepare Blue Eggs and Ham, Green Grits with Red Eye Gravy, and Banana Pudding with Candy Stripes on demand. U.L. has traveled extensively. On one occasion he made six complete laps around a local Walmart, from toys to electronics, past dairy and produce dept., finishing with more than 3,000 steps. (Verified by Fitbit) The total time did not meet Guinness's record standards as he spent an unusually long time in the toys. U.L. has also reached the end of the internet, twice. Mr. Devereaux Is married with four grown children and three grandchildren. He adores each and every yesterday, today, and tomorrow with family. At this writing, Savannah, a grandchild, is a beautiful sixteen-year-old that lives at a beach on the eastern coast of the United States. She is on the Spectrum, being diagnosed with Autism at a very early age. Savannah Is blessed with many gifts, among them, an accomplished watercolor artist of imaginary, idiosyncratic, smiling friends. To help spread Autism Awareness, Mr. Devereaux petitioned the state of South Carolina to produce a special license plate for this awareness. Bill 3961 was passed in 2013, cited as the 'Savannah Lee Autism Awareness Special License Plate Act'. Bill section 56-3-13220 was signed into law by then-Governor Nikki Haley. Savannah's early childhood drawings were the inspiration for the Savannah Lee Series¿. Mr. Devereaux's 1st children's book is 'All My Friends', starring many of Savannah Lee's drawings. There are many more developmental series books on the proverbial writers' shelf.
