Autorenporträt
Linda G. Barrett had been a closet writer for most of her adult life, sharing the creative aspect of herself with very few people over the years. Her spontaneous writings, as Ms. Barrett refers to them, have always been initiated by listening to a powerfully emotional piece of music. But it's not the lyrics that inspire her; it is the music's vibration, tone, and feeling. Then in 2019, Ms. Barrett knew she must share what she had written and published her first book-a collection of poems entitled Release Me. The poems continue to speak to many readers, showing them they are not alone in their struggle to find peace, to deal with sorrow, and to know there is something else beyond what we can see in the physical world. In Ms. Barrett's second release, Save the Sinner, she expands upon the themes in Release Me as she forays into works of short fiction along with new, poignant, often-mystical poetry. Ms. Barrett, a registered nurse for more than thirty years, resides in North Central Florida with her husband, two dogs, and three cats.
