S.E. Sasaki was born in Toronto, Canada. Family physician, author, visual artist, and perpetual accident-waiting-to-happen, she can claim that eight broken bones and a torn ACL have not convinced her to stop downhill skiing or doing stupid things like riding ostriches, but she does find writing safer. She has self-published a medical thriller series set in the future and the first in the series, WELCOME TO THE MADHOUSE, was short-listed for a Watty Award for Best Original SFF Novel and was being shopped around to film companies until the Covid epidemic became a reality. The third book, AMAZING GRACE, was finalist for the Page Turner Award for Best Book this year. S.E. Sasaki also writes historical fiction and her new novel is titled A GOOD JAPANESE WIFE.
