Megan Patterson returned home to Oxley Crossing to care for her dying mother, and even with her new accountancy business, her life seems empty. But in a small town, how likely is it that she will find love? Perhaps she should just resign herself to something less than her heart's desire. Jonathon Armitage, a mechanic seeking a job, rides into town on his Harley. He has been hurt all too often. So often, in fact, you could say he has a commitment phobia. Then a moment of connection changes everything he believes about himself. When he recognises Megan as a woman made for staying, while he is a man made for leaving, he vows to keep his distance. What is the mysterious electricity that shocks Megan and Jon whenever their hands touch? Could it be love? Even when a pair of Cupid's most determined helpers do their utmost to bring about a happy ending, the outcome remains uncertain. Will Megan overcome her doubts and fears before Jon jumps on his bike and roars out of her life forever? Will Oxley Crossing work its magic on Jon's disillusioned heart, allowing love to blossom?Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Born in the tropical north, Lena lives close to the sea, although over the years she has lived everywhere from large cities to isolated farms. Her most recent home has a deck overlooking the beautiful Blue Water Wonderland of Port Stephens. After teaching in Queensland, and New South Wales, she took early retirement to travel Australia in a motorhome. This idyllic lifestyle lasted several years, during which time she indulged in the creation of story plots and their settings, culminating in the fulfillment of her lifelong ambition to be a writer when she learnt how to self-publish her stories. Storytelling came naturally - she had been making up stories for her own entertainment all her life, but it wasn't until she began traveling that she had time to write down some of her favourites. As well as a series of rural romances set in the fictional town of Oxley Crossing, she writes contemporary romances and Australian historical romances. With an addiction to happily-ever-afters, in both her reading and her own stories, the romance genre is a natural fit, and the variety of places she has lived have all contributed to the settings in which she brings love to life.
