Reading stories to children is an important occasion: the words we repeat over and over again, like mantras, influence their points of view and ours. If you believe it too, follow these reading tips: 1. take your time, don't rush, read slowly; 2. interpret the story, create different voices for the different characters; 3. read the blue sentences twice, articulating clearly, pausing before the second time to add a word like "remember"; 4. at the end of the story, ask the child what they liked most or least and talk about it together.
