Autorenporträt
In his 20s and into his early 30s, Joseph M. Mascia worked with farm workers and farmers in numerous locations in several countries, including the growers, pickers, and pruners of the orchards of New England and New York. He worked on Sawdust Footprints as time permitted over the course of several years, completing it in 1996. Thereafter he loaned it to anyone who was interested until it was published in 2005. His second book, Justin, the Traveller, follows the misadventures of a hapless tourist in Central America during war time. Mr. Mascia is working on his third book.
