Born in Australia, raised and reborn in China, Richard Tong is an award-winning, 25-year veteran of Asian advertising. His first novel, The Durian Effect, is a fictional memoir, loosely based on his virgin encounters with the Eastl. It quickly made its way into the pantheon of contemporary Asian literature. The sequel, Me & My Potato, took an equally candid look at the breeding and birthing of bi-cultural babies. In 2014, Tong launched a series of neo-noir thrillers. Bitch On Heat, is the first and has been critically acclaimed. Hailed alongside Clavell, le Carre, Ludlum and Mason as one of the all-time 10 best books set in Hong Kong. The sequel, Sayonara Bitch, was released in December 2015.
