Chemotherapy induced Alopecia is one of the most distressing feature in cancer treatment. Since the introduction of Scalp Cooling method there has been a significant reduction in hair loss associated with cancer chemotherapy.This study assesses the effectiveness of Scalp Cooling technique using Paxman Scalp Cooler in preventing Chemotherapy induced Alopecia. Around seventy percent of the patients showed positive results by using Paxman Scalp Cooler. It was also found that taxane group of drugs showed maximum benefit.
