Jim Douglas is a Civil War Historian and serious collector of Civil War artifacts. He has appeared in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review concerning current Civil War related topics, and has had feature articles written in the Washington Observer-Reporter concerning his books and his successful effort to have a Pennsylvania State Historical Marker approved for the subject of his first book Major A. G. Happer. Mr Douglas is historian and council for the 11th Pennsylvania Vol. Infantry Co. G reenacting group. Jim and his family live in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
