Jaclyn lives in Northwest Washington with her growing family, a place she often refers to as "Narnia". The lush green trails and seaside beauty she explores with her family led to the inspiration behind this book design. Jaclyn is a Marriage & Family Therapist and a Certified Mindful Schools Educator. She has spent her career providing therapeutic and familial support to children, teens, young adults and families. Jaclyn has provided therapy in foster homes, residential treatment centers, private practice, university and schools. She dedicated the last decade to mental health work in the school system and building more preventative strategies in schools that incorporate effective regulation tools and mindfulness practice into the classroom. With this book series, she hopes to educate and model strategies that can support our little ones' well being and mental health!
