J.E. Sumerau, Ph.D. (2012), is an Associate Professor and the Director of Applied Sociology at the University of Tampa as well as the co-founder and editor of www.writewhereithurts.net. Her writing focuses on sexualities, gender, religion, and health related to societal patterns of violence and inequality.
