Alison Sharma is a first-time children's chapter book author with a passion for seeing children thrive. She did not set out to write a children's book series but within a week during June 2021, the first draft of Scarlett Brown had come to life. Alison lives in North Warrandyte, Victoria, with her husband Noddy and their son Jesse. They have an American Staffy called Wallace. After working as a professional photographer for over 20 years, life has led her down a few different paths, but it was while working in education support with grade five children that Alison saw a need to remind young people about who they are, and how much they can achieve, even when they are young.
