Autorenporträt
Prof. Parashar is a surgeon and a medical teacher by profession. In his career of more than fifty years, he has taught thousands of medical students and has trained hundreds of surgeons in India and Middle East. He is an author of a simplified book on surgery, on popular demand from his students. His main hobby is reading and writing. The subject of his main interest is the search for an interface between philosophy and science. His writings try to address this issue. He is a deeply religious man, yet he is not a slave of religion. His views are broad based and converge on the singularity of all faiths. His poems reflect his unwavering faith in human nature and in the almighty superpower presiding over the destiny of all. Recently he has published his book titled Twists and Turns of Destiny. Presently, he lives with his wife Shashi in the USA. However, he loves to spend some time to relax at his beautiful resort home in Goa, India. E-mail skparashars@yahoo.com
