This research is about the process and product of school effectiveness. The researcher developed a model on school effectiveness in this study. Without any previous design and the hypothesis, but surely with some ideas gleaned from latest researches on school effectiveness, the researcher went into the field to travel around and tried her best to get grounded data to build up her understanding of the school. Each school is a certain creation of its unique community. To me, the development of this school effectiveness model is both the creation of its own time and also its own special set of circumstances in its specific context. An important implication of the study is a paradigm shift towards structuring school effectiveness model through literature review and findings of the study and finally proposing a school effectiveness model for Pakistani schools. The theoretical framework for the study was researches on school effectiveness by Creemers (1994) and Reynolds & Cuttence (1992). It was an exploratory research.
