School epiphytotic derives from a botanical metaphor and is finding way in the school universe. As for mildew or rust affecting a huge number of vegetal of the same species, radically deterministic in education, the epiphytotic there is an early massive elimination of poor pupils. From a return prospect, school epiphytotic resembles an orthogenesis and is similar to social reproduction. Thus, inequalities mutate, are transmitted through a progressive process with a one way variation affecting negatively groups wrecked by poverty. Education should be synonymous to social promotion, that's why the school is displeased with a deep feeling of self-reproach. Mobility should be the school's creed, it should not act toward the social elevator blocking. From there rises the necessity to adopt steps for structures, politics and curricula's revision in order to better combat inequalities and foster promotion for all in the school system.
