She also has served on the leadership team that launched the educational children's programming brand, PBS KIDS - and managed advertising promotions for the Washington Post. She now dedicates her time to supporting parents through their children's developmental transitions with her company, Carla & Liv KIDS, www.CarlaandLivKids.com. Ms. Taylor-Pla holds a Bachelor's Degree from Yale; a M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University (Medill School of Journalism); and an MBA from American University. She's lives with her husband, daughter, and beagle-mix.
