Sport has always been a subject of debate in School Physical Education. Sometimes considered as the only object of the area, and other times rejected as a propagator of social inequalities, this object takes center stage in the most varied reflections. It is in this debate that this work seeks to insert itself, bringing a contribution from authors of the Critical Theory of Society. Based on materials that are part of the Physical Education teachers' training, the work seeks to reflect on how sport has been thought as an object of training by Physical Education.
