Pâmella Alves, nacida en la ciudad de Nepomuceno, ingresó en la Universidad Federal de São João del-Rei en 2012 y actualmente cursa un máster de posgrado en la misma institución. Sus propias experiencias alimentaron la escritura de este libro, que acabó mezclándose con la vida de las personas implicadas.
