Between 1991 and 2007 more than four hundred specimens of scolopendromorph centipedes were collected from 100 sites in Taiwan. In total, 14 species of 5 genera, Scolopendra, Rhysida, Otostigmus, Cryptops, Scolopocryptops were found. Illustration of the morphological characters of Scolopendromorpha, and classification and description of Taiwanese species. The keys to the scolopendromorph genera and species of Taiwan are presented. A revisionary status, Scolopendra multidens Newport, 1844 is now a valid species.
