Smita Bernadet Kujur who is popularly known as Hosanaa on social media, was born in Delhi on the 31st of March. She is the first child of Sushila Kujur and Srimanim Belkhas Kujur who now reside at their ancestral land in Ranchi, India. Her father was a manager at IPCL and thus his transferable job gave her the opportunity to complete her schooling from Kolkata, Mumbai and Patna. During her academic years, Smita has won multiple awards in designing, drawing, singing, artistic and creative competitions. After finishing her Major in Botany Honours from St. Xavier's College Ranchi in 2007; she decided to move out of her house and gain further exposure which would enhance her skills to live a strong and independent life. She shifted to Chennai alone with a new vision and joined Loyola College in 2008 to pursue her Master's degree in Biotechnology. Adding to her credits, she is the first person to study the phylogenetic analysis of Bhumij Tribe from Jharkhand under the guidance of Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad in 2010. She also has many blogs and her favorite being the one on nail art. After her completion, she joined a research project in Genetics of Male Infertility from The University of Madras in 2015. Smita has also published two research papers internationally in the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research 2015 and British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research 2016. Chennai has been her second home ever since, as her stay in this city had lasted for 8 long years. It was extremely overwhelming for her to vacate because she had fallen in love with the city and the people there. With the hope of making more memories and grow professionally, she came to Bangalore. At present, Smita is working as a full-time senior geneticist in St. John's Medical College, Bangalore. She is a multi-talented personality. She is also a singer, lyricist, music composer and a dancer. She has judged events such as fashion shows, singing and dancing competitions on various occasions. She is gifted with an ingenious vision and inspiring achievements. Scorby is her first attempt to bring a smile on many faces.
