The next best thing was an Artillery Shoot for over two and a half hour where he destroyed the only tanks attack at West Pakistan which was completely destroyed. The author met fighter attack from five aircraft at one time while he had gone to take an air shoot at the Indian Tanks with Pakistani Fighter planes.

Major Muhammad Iftikhar Ahmad got his retirement from the Army after 27 years of service and managed to run his own aviation tourism company. He also did very well to in his indenting business and gas stations. His wife gave him a great support to survive all along in Army as well as in Civil Services.
