However, it was not very clear whether excessive screen time is related to social support, perceived distress, and psychological well-being or not. Therefore, this study will focus on finding the impact of screen time on a young adult¿s social support, distress, and well-being. Consumption of online platforms can be an isolating experience and, consequently, can have a direct bearing on the person¿s sense of social support, distress, and well-being. The aim of this study is to examine the pattern of screen-time use and psychological distress among Indian youth. This study is a cross-sectional study done on 201 participants, both male and female, who were included in this study. A total of four scales were used to empirically represent the data and using the following scales Screen time 18 Items Questionnaire, Multidimensional Scale for Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), Perceived Stress Scale and Psychological Well-Being Scale.
