The concept of specific learning disability is associated with impaired cognition and learning within the individual, resulting in delays in academic skills and performance at school, such as reading, math, and language. These delays occur despite proper education, which are often referred to as unexpected academic failure. Reading difficulty is the most well-known type of learning disability, which in some cases leads to poor motivation, low self-esteem, feelings of failure, and poor relationships with peers. Learning disabilities increase the risk of disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Communication Disorders, Behavioral Disorders, and Depression. Therefore, reading success is very important for students from different angles. Children with reading difficulties often have normal intelligence, are unable to make good academic progress, and have difficulty continuing or dropping out of school.
