Growers in Sindh face acute shortage of irrigation water during cultivation of wheat crop particularly in tail end areas. Keeping in mind the problem of water shortage an experiment was conducted for the two years to screen/check out performance of wheat varieties under different water stress levels. This experiment was conducted at experimental field of Botany Department, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. The experiment was laid out in RCBD (Randomized Complete Block Design) containing 25 wheat varieties having five water stress treatments. Agromorphological performance of wheat varieties were recorded during the two wheat cultivation seasons.

Dr. Ameer A. Mirbahar is presently working as Postdoc fellow (CAS-PIFI) at IGDB-CAS Beijing, China. Dr. Mirbahar has worked on Screening of wheat varieties for drought tolerance for M.Phil. Degree and DNA fingerprinting analysis of elite date palm cultivars from Pakistan for Ph.D. degree. Also have wide experience of Orchids, Anthurium cultivation.
