Murder, ghosts, love, revenge, families. All these and more are covered in this collection of short stories from Glynis Scrivens. Quick reads for today's busy person. Stories you can enjoy during a coffee break or while the children are quiet for five minutes. Stories to make you laugh, cry, think about. Most of all these re stories you can enjoy. These stories range in length from 100 to 6400 words and were written for very differing audiences, ranging from twenty-something factory workers in the UK to middle-aged Norwegian women. They have been published in magazines, newspapers and anthologies in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, South Africa, India and the United States. They're not arranged chronologically, in the order in which they were published, but rather thematically, loosely connecting like with like. There are fifty-three stories, arranged in three parts: Recipe for Life (family stories), The Language of Love (romance) and Murder and Mystery (murder, supernatural, magic realism, crime).
