This work discusses scripture lands, described in a series of historical, geographical and topographical sketches, and illustrated by a complete Biblical atlas comprising of twenty-four maps and an index of reference. Among the various account of the lands of scripture which exist, this volume derives its most distinctive character from the atlas of Biblical maps with which it is connected. The writer furnished a text to the maps and imparted a somewhat more comprehensive view of the whole subject than a mere topographical description of the maps.
