Kathy lives in California with her little dog, Scruffy. She has written two other children's books, "Maggie the Magnolia" and "Oscar the Oak", as well as many short stories. She is currently working on what she hopes will be a very funny and touching memoir. She is a proud mom of two fine sons, and the grandmother to three adorable youngsters.
