Doug Stone lives in Albany, Oregon. He has worked in social services and has been a public policy analyst. He graduated from Oregon State University in Political Science and has recently returned to take classes in Art History. His poems have appeared in Fireweed, The University of Portland Review, The Oregonian, ArtSpirit, Cloudbank, Fault Lines, Riven Poetry Journal, and the anthology A Ritual To Read Together: Poems in Conversation with William Stafford. He was invited to present his poetry at the annual Steeped in Words reading at the Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland, Oregon. He is a member of the Oregon State Poetry Association and the Corvallis Chapter of the Willamette Writers.
