Sean Scully's abstract paintings are world-famous. To date, however, little attention has been paid to the fact that he also creates sculptures. Sean Scully ( 1945, Dublin) is one of the world's most acclaimed contemporary artists. His oeuvre is characterized by an intense confrontation with Abstract Expressionism, Action Painting, and Minimalism. Sean Scully divides his time between New York and Munich.
