""Glicia de Almeida is a poet and member of the Academia Porangatuense de Artes e Letras (APALE) in Porangatu, Goiás, Brazil. Awarded the Alveres de Azevedo Prize for Best Poem, she has published the solo collection Thorns and Roses and contributed to Poetas de Angatu and História e Memórias de Porangatu. Glicia's work, celebrated for its emotional depth and lyrical beauty, reflects her commitment to both the art of poetry and the cultural heritage of her community. Glicia de Almeida é poeta e membro da Academia Porangatuense de Artes e Letras (APALE), em Porangatu, Goiás. Foi premiada com o Prêmio Alveres de Azevedo, com o poema """"Os tambem se levatam"""" em 2000. ""
