Synthetic fertilizers were used widely in those days for agricultural purposes but led to cause degradation of beneficial soil microbes , vital nutrients , soil fertility and thus rendering the whole soil ecosystem unsuitable for any crop cultivation in future. The content of this book highlights manurial value of brown and green seaweed liquid extracts on growth and yield of vegetable crop, cluster bean. The studies also imply that the ingredients of liquid extracts of brown and green marine algae might be used in commercial preparation of effective organic biostimulant for crop productivity.
