Gary Seeary was born in the town of Stawell in the Wimmera region of Victoria. He currently lives with his wife, Deborah, in the bayside area of Melbourne.They have two adult children and six grandchildren.Gary has written three previous novels, Sebastian Carmichael, The Beautiful Journey, and The Moonbeamers, each reflecting a different era in Australian history.In his latest novel, Gary features the lives of children from 1900s Mentone.
