For a decade, he led groundbreaking research in robotic surgery at AdventHealth's Nicholson Center, while also serving on the faculties of Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons and the University of Central Florida's College of Medicine. He has been a lecturer at Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Florida Tech, and several other prestigious institutions. As CTO for the U.S. Army's Simulation and Training Command, he was a visionary for military training systems, earning the Commander's Medal for Civilian Service.
