Merilee Briggs was born and raised in Southern Colorado and is married with four children and eight grandchildren. She was introduced to music and creative writing at a very young age and pursued voice, piano, and creative writing classes. She published her first novel, Second Chance, in 2019. Merilee also has a love for cooking which developed into preparing meals for theatrical performers and celebrities performing with a local theater group.Merilee holds a master's degree in nursing and practices as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Her areas of expertise include Urgent Care, Family Practice, Neurosurgery and Psychology.
