Divorced, with two children, Toki Matsudaira has lived in London, England since 1969. She studied at a tutorial collage for young ladies in Oxford, England from 1961-1963. Trained as a fashion model at Lucy Clayton, London. Did a secretarial course in London, and worked for various art galleries in 1968-1969, including Marlborough Fine Art Gallery and the Royal Academy. She speaks, reads and writes French and has Knowledge of Japanese, though this is a language she does not speak so well due to the length of time she has spent away from Japan.
