Autorenporträt
I was born in Clonmel, County Tipperary, in the shadow of Slievenamon. One of eight children, I have four sisters and three brothers. I started writing poetry and short stories in my twenties. I have always wanted to write a book and it has been on my bucket list for many years. Finally, I found the time and opportunity to write this story. Most of which was written while wintering with my partner in our campervan, in the south of Spain, in a small town called Castell de Ferro. Where the peace and tranquil surroundings were of great inspiration. After losing my close friend, I took a good long look at life. This helped me decide to write my bucket list and do all in my power to achieve my life's ambitions. Gladly, I have gone many miles down that road. As activities on my bucket list span a wide range, between learning to ride a motorcycle, skydiving and backpacking around Asia, writing this book was one of the safer aspirations.
