The world has become a small village. The internet has played an important role in the communications revolution. It facilitates the management of institutions and organizations in many countries. Due to advances in using multimedia streaming (especially video), it becomes important to secure real time video transmission. This Book proposed a security scheme for streamed video frames over IP network. Text encryption algorithms were applied on video frames and they are Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Data Encryption Standard (DES), Triple Data Encryption Standard (3DES) and Blowfish. The proposed scheme introduced on this book was feasible for real time video steaming applications without any extra dedicated hardware. JAVA programming language was used to develop the proposed scheme and the impact of frame rate on securing real time video streaming was studied at the end of the book.

Dr. Nour El-Deen M. Khalfa, Received his B.Sc. with honors in 2006 and M.Sc degree in 2009, both from Cairo University, Faculty of Computers and Information, Information Technology Department, Cairo, Egypt. On October 2013, he received his doctoral degree from the same University, Now he is a Research Doctor at Cairo University.
