It finds out vulnerabilities associated with built environment and in general absence of a defensible space element. It has also discovered various types of crime that can exist under various environmental circumstances. Finally, it is established that security needs in buildings is addressed early in the design stages.

Samuel Hyellamada Markus is the author; he obtained his secondary certificate at Federal government college kwali, Abuja, Bachelor Degree in Architecture (B.Tech) in Federal university of Technology Yola, Master in Architecture (M.Tech) Federal university of Technology Minna, Niger state.
