Infected seeds germinate poorly and could be a major source of inoculum for new crops raised from them.studied in the association of seed mycoflora during storage and its effect on germination, vigour index with different packaging materials and seed treatments on popular varieties of rice. The seeds samples of five rice varieties, GR-4, GNR-3, GNR-4, Gurjari and NAUR-1 were used to know the association of seed mycoflora on the seeds of popular varieties of rice during the short term storage.

Reena Patel is M.Sc. student of Dept.of Plant Pathology,Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari Gujarat-396450. I am interested to do research work like fungus isolation, culturing etc. related to fungus whether it may be storage grain or seed mycoflora. I am very thankful to Dr. V. A. Solanki who helped me in my master research.
