Year after year, the 500-mile trek across Spain known as the Camino de Santiago attracts pilgrims and adventurers from around the world. Some want to check off an item on their bucket list. Others are working through grief or making difficult decisions. Many are searching for deeper meaning in life. Kevin O'Brien walked the Camino to pray. Each day of the pilgrimage, he asked God to give provision and protection to every member of his family, and as he did, he could not help but reflect on the blessings- and even miracles- that God had already given. Seeds Planted is more than a journal of the Camino experience. It is a stunning reminder that God is good, and He cares about the details of our lives. In fact, He walks with us ... every step of the way.
Autorenporträt
Kevin O'Brien is an engineer, an award-winning home builder, a devoted husband, a father of five, and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Whether it's a vow, a contract, or a personal relationship, Kevin's Christian faith guides all of his life decisions and commitments. He lives in Lake St. Louis, MO, in close proximity to 34 family members in 12 households all within two blocks of each other. In 1985, Kevin founded Agape Construction Co., attaining a life-long goal he had set for himself at the age of 15. He describes his achievement as the "desire of his heart," which only happened after he gave his life and heart to God. Kevin now works part-time at the company he founded and devotes much of his time trying to help others grow in their faith. He made the decision to walk the 500-mile Camino de Santiago, also known as the Way of St. James, to fulfill his desire for adventure and physical challenge, to spend time in personal prayer and reflection, and to encourage faith in others. It was the walk of a lifetime.
